国豪 の 生日 [20 - 06 - 2008]

Last year, we spent it together with a group of friends watching movie in BTS.

I am not a selfish person and I seriously thought that celebrating his birthday together with all other friends are a lot more fun than just the 2 of us going out for a candle light dinner. So I called for a gathering that night at the 811 Food Court in Pandan Perdana.

You know what's the most difficult part when it comes to your special one's birthday? Especially when your special one is a guy? - Buying present!!! Don't you girls agree, huh?

It took me ages to figure out what to buy for him. I actually wrote down a list of things but there were so many doubts whether to buy them or not. I don't want to explain why because I think that the reason is rather shameful. And so before his birthday, I think I drop more than 100 batang of rambut a day simply thinking what to get for him.

The first thing I bought was actually a tool box with 69 pieces of tools inside. Including a hammer, some cables and screwdriver... and things that are anonymous to me. I told my step mom what I bought and she then said I'm crazy. No one will ever give their boyfriend a tool box as a birthday gift. Well, I guess it's nice being special sometimes.

I wanted to get him something else after buying the tool box. But I was so afraid of buying the wrong stuff. I was trying my very best to think of something that is worthy and very very useful. In the end, I decided to buy him a Deuter bag. Something he needs a lot.

So 5 days before his birthday, I started on my search for this Deuter bag. And boy I tell ya, it ain't that easy to get it and I seriously thinks that I deserved a big round applause and great appreciation for putting such big effort in finding this bag. I searched almost the whole Klang Valley just to find this bag. I went to Berjaya Times Square, Lot 10, Sg Wang, Pavillion, Sunway... and non of these shopping malls have a single Deute bag!!! Then on that day afternoon, I went to Mid Valley. It was my last chance and only hope to get this Deuter bag. First I went to The Gardens, cause some one in some forum said that I can find it in Isetan. And guess what... THEY DO NOT HAVE IT!!! I was so so so so dissappointed. They said that Deuter is a famous bag brand but why on earth is it so hard to search for just 1? The promoter told me that they only set up small fairs seasonly. I wonder what seasons do they have.

So I walked over to Mega Mall. I was really not in a mood and wanted to cry. The next thing I know, I walked into this shop selling travel bags. And there, infront of my very own eyes -- Deuter BAGSSSSS!!! Boy, words just can't describe how excited I was.

Though they didn't have The Cross City I wanted, I bought Billy instead. It cost less than rm200 after 20% discount. He's now carrying it everyday and this made me feel very glad... after all the effort.

I also bought him a polo T from Padini Authentic. Bought with 50% discount. hehe...

Last but not least - the birthday cake.

I wanted it to be special. So instead of buying sponge cake, I ordered jelly from Qjelly.

The other 2 names... well, was added in last minute... hehe! Because they're also celebrating their birthdays in June. I didn't mean to be so inappropriate. I ordered the jelly before Teh suggested that we add in their names. So this was the best idea I could think of.

The birthday fellas. Chooi Loo wish to be taller for just a moment. On the right is Kevin.

Me and him and his name tag. haha!

Th guys.

And how can you ever forget the girls, huh?

I hope this is not just another birthday celebration to him. I hope he'll remembers it. Though it didn't turn out to be something bazaar or spectacular.

Last but not least, I present you - The Extremely Exhausted Birthday Boy

For your info, he had trouble with sleeping for the past few week. And the day before his birhday, he hasn't been sleeping for more almost 48 hours. Poor dear.

That's all folks
