just came back from retreat camp to Melacca yesterday. woke up at 12pm today and that driving instructor has already arrived at my place to fetch me for lessons. and so I rushed like hell without brushing my teeth and washing my face. and hell, I drove for 4 damn hours today. but thank God cause I don't feel tired at all and I get to drive quite well with all the parking and stuff. I reach home at 4pm something. then only get to eat my "breakfast". but I was honestly not hungry at all. yet I ate the packet of Nasi Lemak my maid brought for me this morning. anyway, here's a brieve of what happened for the past 3 days.
26th Dec (Friday)
gotta attend my vocal class after church service cause if I miss my class again I can't get my cert. therefore my fellow KY bros ans sis went down to Melacca at around 2pm something while I went down alone after class. I almost miss my bus. my class ended at 4.3pm but I bought the 5pm bus ticket. though I caught a cab but it was rather traffic jam. on the way to Pudu Raya, the radio was telling the news about the earth quake in Penang. it was rather shcoking but since I was in a rush, I didn't really pay much attention to it. 3 minutes before 5pm I got off the cab and run towards Pudu Raya. I actually got scolded by the bus driver for being late. after I got up the bus for not more than one minute, it took off its way to Melacca. Thank God.
I reach Melacca at 7.30pm and waited for almost an hour for them to fetch me from the bus station. I didn't get to join them having fun by the sea side. never mind.
later afte dinner I told them about the news and most of them started to get worried. especially Rachel, whose father is in Langkawi. Hon Siang bought the newspaper and all of us started to read about the news, especially me. since so, I turn out to be a reporter, reporting the news on the newspaper. Rachel couldn't get to her father.
we stay at Schaefer's aunty's place. well, it's actually more like his uncle's family property. once we went in, we can see that it's full of status such as SUN NG HONG and generation portraits. it was rather unpeacefull in the first place. but after some prayers and yida yida... it kinda calm us own a little bit. the funniest thing was the bunch of girls, especially me, rachel, May Ling, Mei Yee and Pui Theng were joking and playing around and also laugh like hell until May Ling said that we've scared the spirits away for laughing so loud and that we don't have the chance to see anything if we want to.
slept at almost 2 something in the morning.
27th Dec (Monday)
woke up at 8am. having fasting. therefore went to the seaside for 3 hours to do devotions. came back and have noon nap till 3pm. then devotion again till 6pm. Man! the house is HOT!!! but anyway, untill 5.3pm, we were actually on our way to cari makan. and boy, all of us ate like as though we have never eat in 10 years. but we were all satisfied with all the yummy food. we actually ate from 6pm-9pm. haha...
Rachel reached her dad. his place was stormed, but thank God that he and his family is still safe and they're now staying in a school.
slept at almost 3 in the morning...
28th Dec (Tuesday)
suppose to wake up at 8.30am, but guess everyone was too tired and therefore all woke up at 9.30am. Rachel took us to a place to eat a really nice breakfast with yummy cendol. great satisfaction! then went back and start meeting at 1pm till 4 somethin in the afternoon. I was assign to be the worshipleader for the small group. a newly formed one. and also incharged of the Gospel Sunday in May with Hon Siang.
Went back to KL at 8pm. reach home at 8.30pm.
you know what's funny? after my dad came back from Singapore on the 25th Dec, I gotta go to Melacca the very next day. and on the day I come back to KL, they're actually leaving to HK! what a family...
